The league body of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) have rescheduled the matchday 30 fixtures of the 2023/24 season, Nigeriasoccernet.com can report.

With just two games billed for this weekend, other league actions have now been moved to Tuesday, 16th April, 2024.

On Sunday, Rangers will host Abia Warriors at the Cathedral as the chase for their first league title since 2017 continues.

Enyimba FC will square out with Heartland FC at the Enyimba international stadium, Aba on Sunday.

Southwest derby between Sporting Lagos and Sunshine Stars will take place on Tuesday at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan Lagos.

Gombe United vs Kwara United, Shooting Stars vs Lobi Stars and Rivers United against Plateau United are some of the fixtures that will be played on Tuesday.

No reason was stated for moving the games from this weekend to Tuesday but it is evident that the clubs chairmen outcry over non payment of dues responsible for the shift.

Rangers remain top of the log with 51 points, followed by Lobi Stars on the same point.

Remo Stars and Enyimba completes the top four with 49 and 48 points respectively as Rivers United (31), Akwa United (31), Heartland FC (26) and Gombe United (22) occupy the bottom four.
