Nigeria Premier Football League ( NPFL) has rescheduled all Match Day 15 and 16.

The primary reason for the adjustment was logistical challenges related to the festive period, as stated in a letter sent to all participating clubs communicating the decision.

"We have found it reasonable to rearrange fixtures of match days 15 and 16 in consideration of difficult logistics associated with the festive period," the league's Chief Operating Officer, Davidson Owumi, wrote in a letter.

"With this change, we hope to better handle the difficulties that the holiday season presents while also ensuring seamless operations".

Due to this decision, Match Day 15, which was originally slated for December 24th, has been moved to December 21st. In a similar vein, Match Day 16, which was originally scheduled for December 31st, will now occur on December 28th.

Doma United is getting ready for the much awaited Week 14 matchup against Lobi Stars. The game is scheduled to happen at Lafia Stadium on Sunday, December 17.

Meanwhile, as gathered by Nigeriasoccernet.com, the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has mandated the random testing of its players for illegal drugs. All 20 clubs have been instructed to make this process easier for the National Anti-Doping Committee’s agents.

Two players from each of the clubs participating in a particular match will have their anti-doping tests conducted without prior notice, according to a memo to clubs signed by Chief Operating Officer Davidson Owumi.

The clubs were instructed to provide the Anti-Doping agency with their fullest cooperation in order to complete the task of purging the NPFL of any confirmed or suspected doping scandals.
