Bayelsa United saw their desire for an home win on matchday 30 of the Nigeria Premier Football League dashed following their 1-1 draw against Katsina United on Tuesday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Midfield maestro, Garando Tekena had put the Prosperity Boys in front, but his goal was cancelled with that of Andrew Idoko.
Tekena scored on 23 minute from a resulting free-kick, third of the season and second against the Changi Boys after the first leg of the tie ended 1-1 at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium.
However, Andrew Idoko's sixth goal of the season scored on 31 minute sealed a point for visitors.
The result sees Bayelsa United in 15th place with 36 points while Katsina United are 7th with 43 points.
