Enyimba head coach, Olanrewaju Yemi, has emphasized the importance of winning their final match of the season against Plateau United, stating that nothing less than a win will do, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Aba giants are currently third on the league table with 60 points just one more than Shooting Stars in fourth.

After losing to Sporting Lagos on Sunday, coach Yemi claimed to be aware of the high stakes.

"We can't afford to toy with the game against Plateau United," he told the media. "A win will guarantee a place in the continent next season."

Yemi revealed that the players are well aware of the significance of the match and are determined to give their all.

“The players know what is at stake, we can't compromise, we must give everything to get the maximum points. Anything less than that, we have failed the club and the fans.”

The former assistant to Finidi George, Yemi, a month ago took charge to the People’s Elephant while undergoing his UEFA B Coaching license.
