Sporting Lagos have been relegated to the Nigeria National League on the last day of the 2023/2024 Nigeria Premier Football League season on Sunday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

A 1-0 loss to Shooting Stars Sports Club condemned the Noisy Lagosians to the drop zone in just their maiden season in the league.

Christian Pyagbara put the Oluyole Warriors ahead on 38 minute, goal that proved enough to earn all points for 3SC at the Lekan Salami Sports Complex.

Sporting Lagos join Doma United who played 1-1 against Abia Warriors and  Heartland FC and Gombe United arr already relegated.
