NPFL: 3SC hold Gombe United at the Pantami Stadium
Shooting Stars Sports Club earned away point against Gombe United after playing out a 1-1 draw at the Pantami Stadium in the last round of matches in the Nigeria Premier Football League match day 23 fixtures on Tuesday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The Oluyole Warriors came from behind to equalise through new recruit, Hadi Mohammed after Taiye Yusuf had put the home team ahead.
Taiye Yusuf with a calm finish from close range scored in the 29th minute of the game to make it 1-0 for the hosts who held on to the lead in the first half.
However, 3SC came back to the game in the 76th minute after Gombe United could not make use of their chances as the visitors capitalised on an error at the back.
Hadi Mohammed scored for 3SC after taking advantage of Victor Aworji’s poor clearance in front of his box.
Shooting Stars Sports Club now have 31 points which place them at 11th position while Gombe United remain 19th on the log with 22 points.
