NPFL '25: League winners to get 200M as Rangers International, El Kanemi kickstart season
The Nigeria Premier Football League 2024/2025 season will begin on 31st August, 2024 after the fixtures for the new season was released on Tuesday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Rangers and El Kanemi Warriors will open the league season with the game on August 31st while the remaining games for matchday one will hold the following weekend, 8th September, 2024.
The league draws was held in Lagos were clubs agreed the league will take a full bloom format and not abridged as speculated before now.

Meanwhile, the Nigeria Premier Football League has announced an increment in the price money for the winners of the new season at the Annual General Meeting.
According to NPFL chairman Gbenga Elegbeleye, the winner of the league will take home 200 million naira, an increase of 50 million naira from the last season winner.
