Norway Top Scorer Fred Friday Headed To Holland
The leading scorer in the Norwegian top-flight league Nigerian striker Fred Friday could soon be rewarded for his rush of goals with a transfer to the Dutch league.
The little known 21-year-old striker is the leading scorer in the Norwegian top league after he fired eight goals for Lillestrom this season.
And now the reward for his superb form could be a transfer to the higher profiled league in Holland.
“There is a big, big possibility Friday will move to Holland in the summer. His representatives are talking to a number of clubs there,” a top source informed AfricanFootball.com
Lillestrom have already proved to be a great springboard for Nigeria internationals Nosa Igiebor and Anthony Ujah.
Igiebor played for the Norwegian club for two years before he moved to Israel and therefore the Spanish La Liga, while Ujah spent a year there before he switched to the German Bundesliga with FSV Mainz 05.
