No go for Zouma
Kurt Zouma is ready to fight for his place at Chelsea after the recent kind words from new boss Frank Lampard.
The Frenchman signed for the Blues from Saint-Etienne in January 2014, staying at Les Verts for the remainder of the season but joining in time for the 2014-15 campaign.
After some encouraging performances, Zouma established himself in the side but a serious knee injury saw him miss six months.
It is true that I enjoyed my time at Everton but I am a Chelsea player.

It was deemed best for him to go out on loan to gain regular football and he has spent the last two seasons at first Stoke and then Everton.
The Toffees were suitably impressed with the 24-year-old to try and make his deal permanent but Lampard said on Friday that he wanted to keep the French international, seeing him as a potentially key player as the club battle through their transfer ban.
Zouma admits he has benefitted from his time away from Stamford Bridge but is now keen to kick on at Chelsea under the new coach's tutelage.
"I'm happy with what the manager said about me," said Zouma. "That means he is seeing the work I'm doing and I'm very pleased with that. We had a chat at the beginning of pre-season and he was very good with me. We talk a lot.
"It is true that I enjoyed my time at Everton but I am a Chelsea player and we'll see what will happen in the end. I think it will be here at Chelsea but the most important thing is to work and to prepare for the season.
"I want to do really well in pre-season to get my chance and be here."
Chelsea are 25/1 to win the Premier League and 5/4 to finish in the top four.
