Kehinde Olajuyin and Kamaru Adebari goals were enough to earn Ekiti FC 2-1 victory over visiting Rovers FC of Calabar in the Nigeria National League, NNL Matchday 7 that was played at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium, Ado-Ekiti yesterday, Nigeriasoccernet.com writes.

Ekiti United made too substitution with Pius Chikodi and Segun Ajengele replacing Olushola Oluwole and Odufu Noah on resumption and Segun Ajengele quickly made his impact felt in the 52nd minutes when is header almost found the the back of the net but Clinton Ezekiel reacted well to cover his gaol line area.

Samson Unanuel side leveled score in the 56th minute when Omolabi Owolabi rose highest to nod him from a corner to open up the game as both teams began to search for the winner.

It was the home side that made use of their chances when substitute Kamaru Adebari beat his maker inside the box to slot home the winner sending the home bench into wide jubilation.

Wale Makanjuola, Ekiti United goalkeeper denied the visitors a late a equalizer when he pushed a goal bound long range effort from a Rovers striker for a cornerkick.

Up next for Ekiti United is a trip to Uyo where they will battle Vandrezzer FC.
