Ikorodu City of Lagos recorded their biggest win so far in their Nigeria National League match day 4 encounter with Gateway United at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Lagos, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Oga Boys team defeated the Ogun State based side 4-0 in a game that saw substitute Abikoye Utman scoring a brace.

After an evenly contested game saw score remain goalless, but it lasted for 18 minutes as Aderibigbe Paul broke the deadlock for the hosts.

A nice through pass from Salami Farouk was hit by the number 9  from the edge of the box to the right corner to beat the goalkeeper fto score his first goal of the season.

Uthman who came in the 20th minute received a cross from the right before rounding up the goalkeeper to slot in his first of the day 11 minutes later.

Uthman continued his brilliant performance since his entry as he is brought down in a goal-bound situation which led to the referee's call for a penalty.

Salami Farouk stepped up to score the spot kick giving the Lagos team a comfortable 3-0 lead at the end of the half.

Uthman made it 4 in the 90th minute after a cagey second half to end the tie 4-0 with the man of the match award.

The win takes Ikorodu City to second on the Conference B log 3 points adrift Crown FC who have amassed 10 points after one match more than the City Boys.
