Lekki United have their first win of the 2024 Nationwide League One, NLO season following their 2-1 triumph over TCCG FC at the Legacy Pitch, Abuja on Monday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Lekki United came from a goal down to record their first win after matchday 2 courtesy of goals from Ugonna Godwin and Adegoke Adewale.

Nwandishi Chuks had put TCCG ahead on 14 minute, but Ugonna Godwin had restored parity from a Bala's free kick 9 minutes later as the half ended 1-all.

 

After over 30 minutes of play in the second half, breakthrough came for United as Adegoke Adewale put the club ahead with a sublime finish in the box to complete the turnaround.

The win brings succor to Lekki United who lost 4-2 to Allifey FC in matchday 1.
