Nigeria striker Leke James may have scored his 11th goal in China, but his team Beijing Enterprise FC have lost out on promotion to the Super League.

The Nigeria striker’s goal ensured his club escaped a home defeat to Nei Mongol.

The former Aalesund of Norway striker equalised for his team and told AfricanFootball.com he was disappointed his team are out of promotion chase.

"I scored an equaliser against Nei Mongol, I am happy to score the goal as I have 11 goals now but I am not happy because that we lost the chance of been promoted,” he told AfricanFootball.com

“We are sixth on the league table with three games to end the season.

“I wish to score in all the remaining games."
