Nigerian striker Akpabio scores first goals for Yeni Malatyaspor

George Akpabio has scored his first goals for his Turkish second division side Yeni Malatyaspor.

The one-time Nigeria U20 invitee has gone nine games without a goal, before he ended the drought when he scored in their 2-0 win at Sanliurfaspor on Saturday.

Yeni Malatyaspor are 15th on the league table with 11 points from as many games.

Akpabio doubled his team's lead in the 78th minute.

The 22-year-old striker has played for Plateau United(Nigeria), Ajax Cape Town, Vasco da Gama and Chippa United (All in South Africa).

He won the South African division 1 league with Chippa United in the 2013/2014 season.
