Npfl side Rivers United coach Stanley Eguma has stated that the Nigeria Referees have no other options than to improve on officiating in the domestic league.

Eguma said that, the (NRA), will cherish recognition through international officiating, which alone will influence the drastic positive change in officiating because of gaining presence in the Continent.

“I’m expecting a fair officiating because Nigeria Referees have started improving since they do not have any options because they still need their presence in international competitions which will engineer this utmost performance, I am not surprise they are all doing well since the start of the league season, it is good for our league now, clubs will put in efforts in commemoration with good officiating I think, it’s a welcome development and the Referees are getting kudos for it,” he said.
