Nigerian forward Monday Etim has joined Hillerod Fodbold in the Danish League after completing his routine medical on a two-year contract., Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Calabar-born star joins from  FC Roskilde after a season loan with Helsingor before joining the Danish Club.

Hillerod says the 25-year-old acquisition is considered to be a replacement for Sebastian Pingel, who was recently sold to AC Horsens.

The club goes further to extol his football abilities after his unveiling on Wednesday.

"After Pingel's departure, we looked for one or more people who could take over. On Monday, we get a player who can do a bit of everything - he can play right up front and at the same time come from the side.

His speed is fierce, and in our environment with the staff behind him, we will see a completely different player. I am incredibly happy that I managed to get Monday to HFE."
