Nigerian forward Fanendo Adi powers Portland Timbers to MLS playoffs final

Nigerian striker Fanendo Adi was the hero of his MLS side Portland Timbers as he sent them to the Western Conference playoffs final scoring a goal and an assist in their 2-0 win over hosts Vancouver Whitecaps on Sunday night.
Portland Timbers advanced on 2-0 aggregate, having played goalless at home.
Portland will now face FC Dallas in the Western Conference final first leg on November 22 in Dallas.
Adi scored the first goal in the 31st minute before he assisted Diego Charra for the second goal in the 90th minute to seal the victory.
The former Copenhagen player scored 16 goals in the regular season and one in the playoffs.
