On January 9th, the Nigerian Super Eagles, concluding their training camp in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, are set to engage in a friendly match against Guinea, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Both teams have been preparing for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, with the Syli Stars also in Abu Dhabi since Sunday, arriving three days ahead of the Eagles.

Following the friendly, Nigeria will depart for Côte d'Ivoire, the host nation for AFCON 2023 a day after.

The three-time champions aim to secure their fourth title, commencing their campaign against Equatorial Guinea on Sunday, January 14, followed by matches against Côte d'Ivoire and Guinea Bissau, all in Group A.

Meanwhile, the Syli Stars find themselves in Group C, alongside Cameroon, Senegal, and Gambia.
