The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) body have rescheduled the matchday 28 fixtures across board, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Initially slated for Tuesday, April 2nd, 2024, the matches will now take place on Wednesday, April 3rd, across all venues.

This adjustment was confirmed by the NPFL in a memo distributed to all 20 participating clubs on Wednesday.

The decision for the postponement was made to ensure that all state federation cup finals are concluded.

Enyimba hosting Kano Pillars at the Aba stadium is an epic of the matchday while newly appointed coach of Akwa United, Mohammed Babaganaru playing his first home game against another newly recruited technical adviser, Bala Abubakar Mohammed of Doma United will also be pick of the 9 matches of the midweek.

Meanwhile Rivers United away to Abia Warriors will not be holding due to the visitors commitment in the CAF Confederation Cup.
