Super Eagles centre back, Samson Gbadebo has said the side will not disappoint against the Menas of Niger Republic at the ongoing 4th African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Kigali, Rwanda.

Both West Africans sides will confront themselves in Monday’s Group C second match at the Stade Regional Nyamirambo in Kigali.

Gbadebo said though Niger may not come cheap in the clash they have tasked themselves to get it right from the word go.

“Our sing song right now is ‘Niger must fall’ and fall they must when both sides engaged each other on Monday in Kigali.

“We have challenged ourselves to start the campaign on a winning note no matter the opposition the Niger side will come up with in the clash.

“We understand quite well that Niger may not come easy as there is no more small country in the round leather game.

“However, I’m confident that if we put everything right we have been taught in training victory will certainly be ours.

“The mood among the players and coaches is quite high and we are merely waiting for match hour to bring our full weights on Niger.

“The Sports minister and his team have spoken to us on Sunday night to lift our morale and we have promised to deliver the goods, we won’t disappoint Nigerians in the championship,” said the Lobi Stars strongman to supersport.com.

The 2014 CHAN bronze winners will engage the 2011 champions, Tunisia at the same Stade Regional de Nyamirambo on Friday before heading off to Gisenyi to play Guinea at the Rubavu Stadium on Tuesday, January 26.
