Neymar talks 'more advanced'
Paris St-Germain have hinted that Neymar is closing in on a departure from the French capital, as the Brazilian was omitted from the squad for their Ligue 1 opener.
The world's most expensive player has been linked with a return to Barcelona as well as a possible move to arch-rivals Real Madrid this summer.
Neymar has not been called up for Paris St-Germain's Ligue 1 opening clash against Nimes on Sunday.
PSG's sporting director Leonardo has told French media that negotiations over Neymar potentially moving to unspecified clubs are "more advanced than before", although no agreement has been reached at this point.
The 27-year-old striker has scored 34 league goals in two seasons for the French giants, although injuries interrupted both of those campaigns.
Coach Thomas Tuchel confirmed Neymar took part in training on Saturday, but was not deemed fully fit ahead of Sunday's game.
Paris St Germain are 7/1 to beat Nimes 4-0 on Sunday. The Parisians meanwhile are 10/1 to win the Champions League this season.
While Real Madrid are rumoured to be in talks with PSG, Barcelona head coach Ernesto Valverde has not ruled out a return to the Nou Camp.
"As it stands, I don't know what is going to happen," said Valverde.
"If he leaves or not there are many things, but in principle I don't know what will happen and I'm not thinking about him (Neymar)."
The summer transfer window closes on 2nd September for clubs in both France and Spain.
Barcelona are 8/13 to win La Liga this season, with Zinedine Zidane's side priced at 13/8.
