English Premier League outfit, Newcastle United is set to enter a fierce competition with Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United for the acquisition of Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Nigeria international although recently extended his stay with the Serie A champions until 2026 but top teams in Europe are willing to activate his buyout clause.

Corriere dello Sport, via Sport Witness, reveals Newcastle's prolonged interest in Osimhen, suggesting an imminent move during the upcoming summer transfer window.

Despite the heavyweight interest from Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United, Newcastle United is poised to challenge them in securing the coveted signature of the 25-year-old Nigerian forward.

The prolific form Osimhen has seen him registered 11 goals in 17 league appearances.

Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain is also among the clubs willing to go all the way for his signature with the Le Parisian identifying the African Footballer of the year as a quality replacement for French star, Kylian Mbappe.
