Saudi owned Premier League club, Newcastle United are reportedly interested in Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen.

According to Italian outlet, La Gazzetta dello Sport, Newcastle will make an offer of a ‘significant sum’ to sign the former Lille man who has been linked with the likes of fellow Premier League clubs Arsenal and Manchester United.

The Magpies are keen to strengthen their attack ahead of next season and have the money to splash on an expensive new striker.

Currently the Nigerian striker is not tempted by a move to Tyneside and with rumuors linking him with Premier League big boys Arsenal and Manchester United going cold it seems the Nigeria International will stay at Napoli and play Champions League football next season but Newcastle will not be giving up on bringing Osimhen to St. James Park as they also tried so in January.

If you're surprised how Newcastle can afford Osimhen, well Newcastle United are today considered the richest club in world football, a label that's an extension of the deep pockets of the club's ownership group which on paper has the capacity to outspend other teams.
