New Asante Kotoko striker Emmanuel Clottey looks to hurt his former club Berekum Chelsea in the Ghana Premier League match on Wednesday.

The 27-year-old played his first game for the champions in the weekend’s barren draw with West African Football Academy.

Clottey has returned to the Ghanaian top flight – where he last played for Berekum Chelsea – after an unsuccessful stint abroad.

The 2012 CAF Champions League top scorer now wants to use his in-depth knowledge of his former club to help Asante Kotoko secure a vital win in the midweek clash in Berekum.

“I know what they [Berekum Chelsea] do there, I know how they play,” he said.

“Before I came to Kotoko I went to train with them [Berekum Chelsea] so I know them very well.”
