A late equalizer on Tuesday night at the a packed Portman Road ensured Ipswich Town will not be put to shame in front of their own fans following their 1-1 draw inert Leicester City, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Nigerian midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi started the game and was instrumental for Leicester in the battle of the top two teams in the Sky Bet Championship.

Stephy Mavididi put the Foxes ahead with a fine curled finish in the 24th minute ensuring the visitor o into the break with a 1-0 lead.

Ten minutes into the second Ndidi was taken off the game as the midfielder looked a shadow of himself after picking up a yellow card.

As the game dragged on, Leicester coach,  Enzo Maresca introduced Iheanacho to try and kill off the game but it was the Tractor Boys who got the other goal.

Leicester failed to survived a frantic finish by the hosts, with Sam Morsy rescuing a point with a shot that deflected off both Ricardo Pereira and Vestergaard before beating goalkeeper Hermansen.

The draw means the Foxes remain six points clear of Ipswich, with Southampton in third.
