Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi expressed disappointment after his side surrendered a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Ndidi, who provided assists for Jamie Vardy and Stephy Mavididi's goals, felt the Foxes dropped two valuable points.

"It was very disappointing because we know we almost had it, so it was really disappointing," Ndidi told the club's official website. "The result does not reflect on the performance."

Despite Palace's spirited comeback, Ndidi praised Leicester's resilience: "We actually did brilliantly staying in the game after the first goal they scored."

The Nigerian international also rued the penalty decision that contributed to Palace's equalizer: "It's just so unlucky because you see the penalty. We did really well."

The draw leaves Leicester City still searching for their first Premier League win of the season, and Ndidi will hope his side can bounce back in their next fixture.
