NATIONS - Neuer to feature in Monday's World Cup qualifier

According to coach Hansi Flick, Germany captain Manuel Neuer will return for Monday's World Cup qualifier against North Macedonia, after missing Friday's match against Romania.

"Manuel trained normally and has no issue, I'm certain he'll be fine and will be able to play," said Flick.

In the 2-1 win over Romania in Hamburg, Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen replaced Neuer.

North Macedonia is the only team to defeat Germany in qualifying, prevailing 2-1 in Duisburg last season while Joachim Loew was still in charge.
