Medeama striker Nathaniel Asamoah has signed a one-year contract extension that will keep him at Tarkwa until 2016, the club has announced.

The 26-year-old joined the Mauve and Yellows in 2013 after terminating his contract with  Serbian giants Red Star Belgrade.

The former Asante Kotoko attacker has signed a one-year contract extension to put ward off any speculation surrounding his future.

“It’s great news for the club,” Medeama Chief Executive James Essilfie told the official club website.

“Nat has brought a lot to this club and we’re delighted he has agreed to stay with us for another season.

“We are looking forward to working with him. He has shown commitment to this club by signing the new deal.”
