Former Serie A champions, Napoli are willing to lower their asking price for Victor Osimhen to €100m, a significant drop from the €150m release clause in his contract, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Nigerian striker has been on the radar of top European clubs like Chelsea, Arsenal, and Paris Saint-Germain despite his contract renewal three months ago.

Napoli’s high price tag on Osimhen has seen interests in the 24 year-old reduced over time with buyers now looking for alternative.

According to Calciomercato, the Partenopei may now be ready to lower their initial valuation to €100 million.

Napoli's decision is believed to be driven by their desire to raise funds for new manager Antonio Conte's summer transfer plans, including the signing of Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku.

While Osimhen is not currently wanted by top European clubs, a move to Saudi Arabia remains a possibility, although the 25-year-old is not keen on the option.
