Murray relishes Cup challenge
Veteran striker Glenn Murray is excited about the prospects of Brighton being able to mount a challenge for glory in the FA Cup this season.
Murray scored twice in extra-time as the Seagulls won a fourth round replay 3-1 at West Brom, setting up a home clash with another Championship side, Derby County, in the next round.
And Murray is clearly highly motivated by the challenge of the FA Cup, telling his club's official website: "You never know what can happen in this competition, some of the bigger sides are already out.
"But we've got a tough enough tie next against Derby County. We know what they're about, they've got some good talent and we'll be wary of them.
"This is still a very special competition and it's always a chance to turn your attention away from the league, going head-to-head to win a game with nothing to lose."
Albion reached the last eight in the FA Cup last season, where they were beaten 2-0 by Manchester United.
United were also the team to deny Brighton on the only occasion that they have reached the FA Cup final, winning 4-0 in a Wembley replay in 1982 after the first match had ended in a 2-2 draw.
Brighton can be backed at 20/1 to win the FA Cup this season, with United priced at 6/1 and holders Chelsea available at 11/2.
