Nigeria forward, Muhammed Tijani put up a brilliant performance on Sunday to lead his side, Banik Ostrava to a big win to a big home win over Rafiu Durosinmi's Viktoria Plzen in the Czech Fortuna, Liga, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The former Flying Eagles striker scored twice to help sink Plzen by two goals to one at the M?stský stadion Ostrava in the league round 27 fixture.

Tijani opened score in the 7th minute after scoring from close range to give the home side the lead, a lead which span through out the first half.

In the second half, Tijani doubled the lead for Banik after connecting to Klim's perfectly with his head in the 58th minute of the game.

Hejda pulled one back for Viktoria Plzen with an header in the 79th minute, but it only became a consolation after 90 minutes as the tie ended 2-1 in favour Banik Ostrava.

Banik go ninth with the win while Viktoria Plzen remain third on the Czech Football League standings.
