Mubarak Wakaso won his first silverware with Celtic after their 2-0 win over Dundee United in the Scottish Cup final.

However, the 24-year-old failed to make the squad as he watched from the stands as Celtic overcame dogged Dundee United to lift the Scottish League Cup and earn the first leg of a potential domestic treble.

Kris Commons and James Forrest scored the goals that broke United's resolve.
