Medeama will face WAFA in the quarter-final of the MTN FA Cup after a hard-fought 5-4 penalty win over Astronomers in their 1/16th stage clash on Wednesday.

The two teams shared the spoils in an entertaining clash at the Robert Mensah stadium in Cape Coast.

Dominic Eshun opened the scoring for the Mauve and Yellows before the home side pulled parity.

Medeama have thus set up a quarter-final clash against WAFA at the Tarkwa and Aboso Park.
