The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the fixtures for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, with Nigeria's Super Eagles set to begin their campaign against neighbouring Benin Republic, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Nigeria will host Benin Republic, led by former Nigeria coach Gernot Rohr, in their opening match.

The Super Eagles will then travel to Kigali to face Rwanda's Amavubi in their second match, with both games taking place in September.

In October, the three-time African champions will play a double-header against Libya, before concluding their qualifying campaign with an away match against Benin Republic and a home game against Rwanda in November.

The top two teams from each group will qualify for the AFCON 2025 finals, which will be held in Morocco.

Nigeria in February finished runner up to host nation Côte d’Ivoire at the AFCON 2023.
