Moro Ibrahim dismisses reports his contract with FC Kairat has been cancelled
Ghanaian midfielder Moro Ibrahim insists he has not canceled his contract with FC Kairat as being reported in the local media.
The 21-year-old is in Ghana on holidays following the completion of the Kazakhstani top flight.
Ibrahim was spotted competing in a youth competition with his former club New Edubiase.
This raised speculations he is back to rejoin his former club.
But the midfielder says he is only keeping himself fit while on holidays in Ghana.
“The league [in Kazakhstan] is finished that is why I am in Ghana,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.
“I am playing with New Edubiase to keep myself fit while I am here.”
Moro Ibrahim joined Kairat earlier this year after a successful stint with Swedish club AIK.
He was part of the provisional Ghana squad ahead of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.
