Molineux move shocks Dadashov
Wolves boss Nuno Espírito Santo has completed the signing of the promising Azerbaijan international striker Renat Dadashov from the Portuguese side Estoril.
Wolves have immediately sent the 20-year-old out on a season-long loan to Pacos de Ferreira in Portugal's Primeira Liga.
Dadashov admits he was surprised when he was handed the chance to join a Premier League side, saying: "I am very happy and I am very excited.
"I got a call from my agent saying Wolves wanted to sign me, and I was like 'really? Is that true? You're not kidding me?' He said 'yes, it is true', so it was an easy decision to make.
"But now, I will go out on loan where everything will be fine, and I can come back a stronger player next season."
Meanwhile, Wolves will be hoping to build up a big lead when they take on the Armenian side Pyunik Yerevan in the first leg of their Europa League third qualifying round clash on Thursday.
If Wolves come through the two-legged tie they will play Torino or Shakhtyor Soligors of Belarus in the play-off round later this month.
Wolves secured a 6-1 aggregate success against the Northern Irish team Crusaders in the last round.
They are 6/1 to beat Pyunik 3-0 on Thursday while they can be backed at 12/5 to win their first Premier League match of the campaign against Leicester City on Sunday.
