Lorient striker Terem Moffi turned down the opportunity of playing with the English side West Ham United despite agreement between the two clubs. nigeriasoccernet.com gathers.

West Ham seem to be making headway in securing the services of the Nigeria international earlier this week after the Hammers proposed an offer acceptable in the sight of Lorient but Moffi will prefer to stay in France (OGC Nice).

According to French journalist, Mohamed Toubache reported that Nice’s most recent bid for the player was €10 million less than what West Ham offered.

But Lorient are looking for more, therefore, the striker is likely to remain at the club.

Moffi is the second top scorer in the French topflight with twelve goals in eighteen appearances.
