Nigeria's opened his goal account this season for CF Montreal in their win over Inter Miami in the Major League Soccer match day 4 fixture played on Monday morning, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The former Nigeria Premier Football League star came off the bench to score Montreal's third as they defeated the star-studded Miami 2-3 at the Chase Stadium, Fort Lauderdale.

Fernando Álvarez had opened score for the Montreal on 13 minutes to give the visitors the lead as the two teams head into the locker room at halftime.

In the second half, Miami restored parity through Leonardo Campana after 71 minute of play, but Matías Cóccaro brought Montreal back into the lead 4 minutes later.

Ibrahim sealed the win with his first touch of the game on 79 minutes after hitting the ball with his left foot following a little deflection. His 8 goal in the MLS.

Jordi Aba pulled one back for Miami a minute later, but the goal it only proved a consolation at the final whistle.

The win means CF Montreal are now unbeaten in 3 matches and are joint top of the league with 7 points.
