In a statement posted on their official Twitter account on Wednesday, Minnesota United officially announced the signing of 28-year old Argentine winger Franco Fragapane. He's a versatile player, capable of playing multiple positions, as remarked by Minnesota United's coacxh Adrian Heath in a statement on the club's official website: "This was a no-brainer. Franco is a bundle of energy, he’s got an incredible work rate. This is something we have targeted as we have brought players in"

Fragapane joins the MLS side from Argentinian club Club Atletico Talleres, where he spent just one season. He started his career in Boca Junior's youth system, and later went on to play for Spanish side Elche B squad side and Celta de Vigo B squad, after returning to his country to play for Arsenal and Club Union.
