Mikel Arteta addresses concerns over Arsenal wonderkid Max Dowman

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has spoken about the development of 16-year-old midfielder Max Dowman and whether the teenager’s early success could affect him.

Dowman, an academy graduate, scored twice for the Gunners in last month’s 4-2 English League Cup victory over Ipswich.

Ahead of Sunday’s Premier League match against Leeds, journalists asked Arteta how Arsenal are helping ensure the young player remains grounded after making such an early impact.

Dowman has made two appearances for Arsenal’s first team this season.
