After a few days of intense talks between Club America and Queretaro FC, both sides have come to an agreement for the passage of Mexican midfielder Fernando Madrigal to Las Aguilas, according to a report by TUDN.The deal has yet to be made official, but is virtually closed. 

The 29-year old midfielder now joins Salvador Reyes as the second acquisition by Club America. He was a key piece in Queretaro's midfield this past tournament, and has also played for Pachuca and a number of second division clubs. The versatile Madrigal will now look do well for America and bring back a title to Las Aguilas.
