Michael Carrick says Manchester United should have beaten Fulham

Manchester United head coach Michael Carrick said his side should have won after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Fulham in the English Premier League.

The result came in the fifth round of the competition, with both teams sharing the points.

Asked whether Manchester United had been too passive during the match, Carrick said: “We should have won this match.”

Manchester United have five points and sit 12th in the league table.
