Medeama winger Jacob Apau spoke about his happiness after scoring his first goal for the club this season in their 1-1 stalemate against struggling BA United on Sunday.
The 19-year-old is returning to his best after being sidelined with an injury for close to two years.
The former Ghana Under-20 winger delivered a thumping header to cancel out Mustapha Mohammed's opener at the Sunyani Coronation Park in week 16 of the Ghana Premier League.
"It's a really nice feeling and it was important for me," he told the official Medeama website.
"I'm really happy to have scored my first goal, it feels good after my injury.
"The team played very well, we were concentrated from the first minute and it was a good match. It wasn't easy because BA United are a good side."
Medeama are fourth on the table with 24 points from 16 games.
