African football governing body ahead of the group stage have given participating teams a deadline to submit their match venues.

Nigeria's champions Rivers United are among the remaining 16 teams that will slug it out in the group stage of the competition.

The Pride of Rivers reached the group stage of the tournament after they defeated Al Nasr Benghazi of Libya over two legs with their home game played at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium.

They've been placed in the group alongside Asec Mimosa( CIV), and Motema Pembe ( DR Congo).

The football body on Monday evening according to BSN announced December 26th, 2022 as the deadline date for the submission.
