Match Report: Aduana Stars 0-0 Liberty Professionals - Fire Club fail to pile pressure on leaders

Aduana Stars shared the spoils with Liberty Professionals in a 0-0 draw at the Agyeman-Badu Park in Dormaa Ahenkro on Sunday afternoon. 

This was a game Aduana Stars should have won after creating an avalanche of scorable chances but missing all of them.

The Fire Club looked determined to grab all the three points in a vision to close the points gap on leaders AshantiGold but Liberty Professionals frustrated them at their own backyard.

Local Black Stars defender Godfred Saka and striker Richard Arhin all missed opportunities to score.

Bernard Arthur could have also scored a late winner for Liberty but he missed narrowly.

Despite failing to win, Aduana have moved to second-spot with 26 points after WAFA slipped to a 2-0 loss at Wa All Stars while Liberty Professionals move to sixth place.
