Ghana defender Masahudu Alhassan picked up an injury after scoring to help Latina bag a 2-0 over Ternana in an Italian Serie-B game played on Saturday.

The 22-year-old was replaced just a minute to halftime having already given his side the vital lead in Terni.

Alhassan celebrated his opener by uprooting and hoisting the corner flag in ecstasy.

The on-loan Udinese player however had to be replaced in the 44th minute after picking up an ankle injury.

The left-back is expected to undergo further tests on the fresh injury in the coming days to ascertain the severity of his injury.

The goal was Alhassan’s first this season in the Italian second tier league.
