Manchester City manager Enzo Maresca has praised the development of midfielder Enzo Fernandez after the Argentina international joined the club from Chelsea.
Maresca worked with Fernandez at Chelsea between 2024 and 2026 before taking charge of Manchester City last summer. He then asked the club’s board to sign the midfielder, with Manchester City completing the move.
Fernandez has made two appearances for Manchester City in all competitions since joining the club and has provided one assist.
Maresca also said: “The club asked me to remind you that we sold players for a lot of money.”
