Cagliari's coach Rolando Maran spoke in his post-match press conference following the 2-1 win against Sampdoria in the Fourth Round of the Coppa Italia 2019/2020.

“The most important thing was to go through. Once again we are showing our true identity. The lads have a great approach also to the cup games. It makes me happy, because this underlines the great work the guys are doing and it’s a fair reward for them.”

On cerri and Ragatzu: “I’m happy for Cerri and for Ragatzu, as they both scored. But I liked them all, from Deiola to Oliva to Walukiewicz. The approach I saw from everyone, all of them wants to be in the limelight."
