Leicester City have been heavily linked with a move for CSKA Moscow striker Ahmed Musa this week.

The Nigerian forward was, according to the BBC, the subject of a £15.1 million bid from Leicester which was rejected earlier in the week.

A fee in the region of £18.9 million has been mooted and the player is said to be keen on a move.

The Foxes are looking to bring in striking reinforcements to bolster their shock title fight and the 23-year-old would appear to be at the top of their list.

But it seems they now have massive competition.

It was first reported in Nigeria yesterday, including by Vanguard News, that Manchester United were also keen on the player.

Now Sky Sports are also reporting that United are keen on rivalling Leicester for the player.

Manchester United have been poor in recent weeks and lack a spark up front in what has been a run of fairly uninspiring performances.
