Napoli are prepared to permanently offload Victor Osimhen with the Partenopei offering Manchester United a discount as they push for the signature of Alejandro Garnacho following the departure of Georgian khvicha kvaratskhelia to PSG, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

This discount from Napoli to the Old Trafford club is in a bid to get a lower asking price for the Argentine winger who has already reached an agreement to move to Stadio Maradona before the January transfer window closes.

Both clubs are reportedly set to hold crucial talks today regarding a potential transfer for Victor Osimhen, but a significant financial divide remains. United are holding firm on their valuation of Garnacho, demanding a fee of approximately €80 million. However, Napoli is unwilling to meet this price, having offered €50 million and indicating that they will not exceed €60 million.

To bridge the gap, Napoli has proposed a unique solution: a discounted transfer for Osimhen next summer.

Osimhen is currently on loan at Galatasaray with a €75 million release clause activated after the season. Napoli are open to reducing this fee if Manchester United significantly lower their asking price for Alejandro Garnacho.

Earlier this month, La Repubblica reported that Osimhen had declined a January move to Old Trafford, preferring to complete his loan spell at Galatasaray.
